Introduction

The 74HCT423D,112 is an uncompensated dual retriggerable monostable multivibrator belonging to the logic family. It is duplex logical circuit consisting of two retriggerable monostables, each with an active low output stage and a common reset. The retriggerable monostable circuit generates a single output pulse of one or more predetermined widths upon receipt of an externally applied low logic level pulse at its trigger input. The trigger input is held low until the output pulse is completed. The pulse width of the output pulse is determined by the value of a timing capacitor and the timing resistor connected between the control input and the output. The output pulse width also can be varied externally by changing the value of the timing resistor and/or the timing capacitor.

Working Principle

The working principle of the 74HCT423D,112 consists of two retriggerable monostables, each with an active low output stage.
