It has two separate inputs for data, one that’s active-low (D0#) and one that’s active-high (D1). In its standard operation mode, the 74LV373PW,118 acts as a transparent latch. During this operation, when the Clock (C) pin is high, the D (input) values are transferred to the outputs, state is saved for both logic 0 and logic 1. When the Clock (C) pin is low, however, the latches lock, and thus permanently store the configured data. In addition to controlling the Clock, the Output Enable (OE) pin can also be used to make all outputs go to high impedance. When this mode is activated, all outputs become floating, thus no output is presented at the time.
