RFI and EMI - Shielding and Absorbing Materials

Radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI)are two types of noise created by electronic devices. RFI is caused by an electronic device picking up electromagnetic waves from an outside source, while EMI is caused by an electronic device emiting radiation in its environment. Each type of interference can have serious effects on other electronic devices, such as interference in data transmission and an increase in background noise. Shielding
