The connector design allows the user to quickly and easily assemble and configure either “two-piece” or “three-piece” power entry connector assemblies. The textured anti-slip surface of the base provides secure and easy to grip connection points when connecting cabling and controlling wires. The 8843.0463 power entry connector assembly is composed of several individual parts which are easily customizable for a wide variety of applications. The female power inlet connectors, male power outlet connectors, and the optional breakaway pins which secure their connection. In addition, the power entry connector’s base provides guidance grooves and integrated ground connection points for improved connection security and electrical continuity. The base also includes two unique features: a connector position assurance (CPA) and an adjustable strain relief. The CPA allows customers to block certain terminals from being connected to power, reducing the risk of incorrect wiring and potential safety hazards.
