Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are microprocessor-based computer controllers designed to automate the control and management of machines and production processes in industrial settings. Working Principle

The analog inputs and outputs are used to measure continuous values such as pressure, temperature, or speed. The CPU will process the analog inputs using algorithms according to the control program stored in its memory. The processed analog values will then be sent to the output system.
PLCs are the typical choice for powering many different industrial applications due to their efficiency, reliability, modularity, flexibility, and scalability. They can significantly reduce the cost and complexity of controlling production processes and machines.
