Working Principle

The 914CE20-Q1 utilizes a bimetallic sensing element to detect the presence of a magnetic field. The coil, mounted on the limit switch\'s plunger, is magnetized when energized. Upon being magnetized, the bimetallic element expands and is drawn into the position of the plunger, where the contact then closes, thereby sending an ON signal. As the plunger plunger is deflected out of the position, the magnetic field is out and the switch is returned to the OFF position.
