A1222EUA-T is a solid state, Hall Effect based switch designed with in-rush current protection. The device integrated a Hall element, a comparator that indicates the magnetic presence and an output driver. A1222EUA-T is suitable for applications such as detection of fans, rotation sensing, position sensing and other switch replacements due to its low power consumption, low cost and high reliability. Additionally, it features an ESD protection and different bandwidth that can be selected depending on the application type.
The working principle of A1222EUA-T is based on the Hall Effect. This effect is a physical phenomenon where a magnetic field is converted to a voltage.
