Working principle

The secondary winding is connected to the core which is moved along the linear axis. The core is connected to a feedback system which measures the magnetomotive force (MMF) produced by the core\'s movement. This MMF is further converted into electrical voltage. This voltage is used to determine the position of the core in the linear measurement range.
The A1334LLETR-T is also capable of measuring angular position using an inductive sensing mechanism. The primary winding is connected to the shaft and is therefore rotated with the shaft.
