A3250EUA is a Solid State Magnetic Switch which offers a high degree of accuracy for detecting and tracking magnetic fields. The A3250EUA has two distinct operating modes; the non-contact or “free-space” mode and the “induction” mode. In free-space mode, the desired magnetic field is detected by the Hall effect sensor without any physical contact. The Hall effect produces an accurate output voltage, which is then processed by the internal digital circuit to convert the voltage to a binary signal. The binary signal is then used to operate the switch, as determined by the user.
The A3250EUA’s induction mode operates by inducing a magnetic field in a coil by passing a current through it. A varying magnetic field is then produced by the coil and monitored by the Hall effect sensor. This allows for more precise detection and tracking of the magnetic field in the presence of static or dynamic magnetic fields. The device can be configured to either identify changes in the magnetic field or to correlate it to a threshold level.
In addition, the A3250EUA is able to perform a variety of functions, such as on/off triggering, latch/unlatch triggering, and pulse timing. This allows the sensor to be used in a multitude of applications, including safety and security systems, pressure switches, motor speed control, and switchable signal generators.
