A480304, or “barrier block”, is a type of terminal block which is designed and rated to protect up to 600 volts AC. It is typically used in a wide variety of applications including connecting two circuits on the same board, connecting the ground or neutral lines from the input power supply to the circuit board, or even connecting the insulated wires to the circuit board. The barrier block simplifies the connection process, protects the components, and minimizes the risk of accidental shorting or arcing.
