It can drive up to four motors in parallel while supporting up to 18 A continuous current, making it perfect for high-power and large-current applications.
The A5949GLPTR-T is a fully-integrated motor driver ideal for applications requiring high-power operation, such as drones, robotics, high-speed automation, or industrial applications. It is a single-chip solution that combines high-current MOSFET drivers, power and logic control signals, and diagnostic diagnostics. The device also supports a wide operating temperature range between -40°C and +125°C.
The A5949GLPTR-T comes with a full complement of diagnostic features such as over-temperature, over-current detection, EDC (Error Detection and Clearing) circuitry, PWM faults, and other system-level faults. This makes the A5949GLPTR-T perfect for high-reliability motor control applications, where intricate error detection and alarm systems are needed.
The device also features a programmable I2C interface, which can be used to adjust the motor speed, control direction, enable/disable the motor, and generate an interrupt when the motor stops. In addition, the device can be programmed to automatically detect motor stall and send an alert to the system.
