Magnetic Sensors - Switches (Solid State):Magnetic sensors, also known as switches (solid state), are a type of sensor that measures the strength of a magnetic field. They are typically used to detect the presence of a magnetic field in electronic circuits, such as for monitoring the position or motion of an object.AD106-00 is a popular magnetometer used in the industrial, automotive, aerospace, medical, and consumer electronics segments. It offers reliable operation, excellent sensitivity, and is capable of measuring the magnetic field up to 10 V/m. The device is available in three different models, namely, AD106-01, AD106-02 and AD106-04, and features a wide range of programming options including sensitivity range selection, zero-field calibration, and magnetic-field sensitivity selection.The AD106-00 utilizes a Hall effect sensor to measure the magnetic field. The Hall effect is based on the principle that when a charge moves through a conductor that is placed in a magnetic field, an electric field will be induced perpendicularly to the conductor. This electric field will cause a potential difference to be generated at the ends of the conductor. The strength of the potential difference is proportional to the strength of the magnetic field.In the AD106-00, a Hall effect sensor is used to sense the magnetic field. The Hall effect sensor consists of a thin film of magnetic material and an electrode. When the magnetic field changes, an electric current is generated in the electrode and this current is detected by the AD106-00. The strength of the current is proportional to the strength of the magnetic field.The AD106-00 also has a built-in amplifier and A/D converter which allow the device to measure the strength of the magnetic field accurately. The measured value is outputted as a digital signal to the host system. The AD106-00 also features a wide range of programming options, making it ideal for applications such as positioning and navigation systems.The AD106-00 is designed to be used in a wide variety of applications such as security systems, motor controls, flow meters, and many others.
