AD5025BRUZ, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, is a highly integrated, surface mount, iCMOS/PTM-compatible, low-power DAC device. The device is designed for applications requiring high performance and dynamic range, lower power consumption, and reduced board footprints. The device operates from a single +5V to +3.3V DC power supply.AD5025BRUZ contains 25 DAC channels, each capable of producing a 10-bit linear output, with a differential output dynamic range of ±14V. The full-scale 10-bit linear output is generated by means of the external precision voltage reference.The voltage reference is used to select a level to which the external input voltage needs to be compared. The reference voltage is then compared to the external input voltage, and the difference is used to generate a digital code that represents the desired voltage. This code is then used to access the digital-to-analog converter to generate the corresponding analog output.The AD5025BRUZ is also capable of simultaneously generating multiple outputs for multiple applications.
