AD5443YRM is a high-speed, low-power, low-latency digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that offers a wide range of applications including precision measurement, industrial and automotive data acquisition, and design prototyping. The AD5443YRM DAC is a 4-bit monolithic integrated circuit containing an input register, oscillator, and output buffer. Output voltage is linearly proportional to the data input applied to the input register. The voltage resolution is 8LSB (1/256 of full scale). This digtal-to-analog converter was designed using advanced proprietary CMOS process techniques.The AD5443YRM features a 16-pin package that is easy to mount on a PCB and a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The converter has an input voltage range of 0 to 5V, a typical output voltage range of 0 to 4V, and a maximum sample rate of 100Msps. It also features an on-chip power-on reset circuit, an adjustable gain amplifier, and an adjustable dynamic filter that eliminates any noise induced by the IC. Additionally, the converter can accept both positive and negative logic inputs.The AD5443YRM is a uniquely versatile converter. Due to its low power, low latency, and wide temperature range, it is ideal for applications requiring high-frequency, low-power data acquisition in extreme environments. The digital input data is clocked into a 4-bit shift register, and the register is periodically reset to the preset value. The output signal is generated by multiplying the reset value and the digital input. By dynamically controlling the conversion rate, the DAC can produce a linear or exponential output signal depending on the input data.The AD5443YRM DAC works in both continuous update mode and one-shot mode. In continuous update mode, the DAC continuously converts the input data and updates the output signal.
