The AD5764ASUZ is a 16-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) from Analog Devices (ADI). It is part of a high-performance family of converters offered by ADI, with the series featuring impressive specifications for precision, resolution, linearity, and channel-to-channel matching.


It is extremely well-suited for a variety of applications, including analog output control for temperature, pressure, and weight systems, digital actuators, closed-loop PID control, and industrial automation, among many others. The AD5764ASUZ is powered by a 2.5V to 5.5V supply voltage. This low voltage requirement makes the DAC suitable for a variety of applications, such as low-power industrial systems and automotive electronics where low voltage is critical. It also features an integrated reference voltage that is used to set the output voltage range. An external reference voltage can be used if the output range needs to be adjusted.


The AD5764ASUZ offers an improved performance-voltage ratio compared with competing converters, enabling accurate output signals for low-power systems. With fully differential output-voltage range, the device is well-suited for industrial and motor control applications. The device is also optimized for total harmonic distortion (THD) as low as 0.2%, relative to the full scale range.
