The system then uses these bits to construct the digital output word.

The AD7582TQ/883B device features a serial track-and-hold amplifier. This increases the time available for the successive approximation to take place. The amplified track-and-hold can be operated over full input signal ranges up to 25MHz sample rate and achieve maximum SNR of 95 dB.
