The AD8273-EVALZ evaluation board is designed to provide quick and easy measurements of AD8273 op amp characteristics. The AD8273-EVALZ is a versatile, single-supply, unity-gain amplifier. It works with both single-supply and dual-supply voltage configurations and is ideal for instrumentation applications. The board uses a current-mirror-based topology with no external components required for operation. The AD8273-EVALZ can be used to measure common-mode and differential-mode gain and phase of the op amp. In addition, the evaluation board enables easy testing of the bandwidth, slew rate, and settling time of the amplifier.

The AD8273-EVALZ board is supplied with a small form–factor BNC connector so that users can connect the board directly to an oscilloscope, or to external signal sources. The connector contains two independent inputs: one for input voltage adjustment and one for input common-mode level adjustment. The board also has a number of digital control switches that allow the user to select the power supply voltage range and the device functionality and power configuration.

In terms of operation, the AD8273-EVALZ evaluation board uses a setting based on the current-mirror-based topology. When a voltage is applied to the input of the evaluation board, the current is mirrored across the internal current-mirror circuit, and is buffered by a low-noise amplifier. This amplified input voltage is then applied to the AD8273 op-amp, which amplifies the input voltage differential-mode gain or common-mode gain. The output of the circuit is the amplified voltage at the output of the AD8273. Thus, the AD8273-EVALZ evaluation board is able to measure the common-mode and differential-mode gain as well as bandwidth, slew rate, and settling time of the amplifier.

The AD8273-EVALZ board is designed to help users quickly make measurements of the performance of AD8273 op amp. With its current-mirror-based topology, the evaluation board enables easy testing of amplifier performance and is ideal for instrumentation applications. By applying an input voltage to the evaluation board, users can measure the common-mode and differential-mode gains, bandwidth, and response time.
