AD827JN Application Field and Working Principle
AD827JN is a precision differential line receiver, specifically designed for operation in very high common-mode voltage environments. Operation Principle of AD827JN
The AD827JN provides differential-to-single ended conversion with minimum amplitude imbalance between two inputs of the differential stage. AD827JN consists of two input amplifiers, a main operational amplifier and two output buffers. The major operational amplifier amplifies the differential signals to drive the output buffer. The main operational amplifier has a gain of the order of 20dB. The input amplifier offsets the differential set point to approximately 0 volts. This reduces the CMRR error of the main amplifiers in the common-mode operation. The output buffers improving the output impedance by driving the load.
The input amplifier consists of two common-mode feedback support amplifiers that sense the differential voltage between the inputs, and provide the biasing necessary for proper operation of the differential input level for its biasing. The main amplifiers gain the difference between the differential inputs, amplify it, and drive the output buffers. The output buffers convert the differential signals to single-ended signals, which are suitable for driving different loads. The buffered output also has higher slew rate which is necessary for many high-frequency applications.
