The AD9279-65EBZ is a high performance analog-to-digital converter (ADC) evaluation board referred to as “Mighty Mike.” This evaluation board features a dual-channel, 8-bit, 200 MSPS, 2.5 V power supply ADC. The Mighty Mike / AD9279-65EBZ ADC board provides an ultra-low jitter clock circuit, on-board voltage references, a ±10 V input range suitable for a high frequency multi-MHz band application, and SPI registers for configuration and control.
The Mighty Mike board is most suitable for those who need a low-power, high-performance ADC solution that can handle a large data rate. In applications involving communication networks, the ADC can process an incoming signal at a very high rate while still maintaining low latency.
