The working principle of the AD9553/PCBZ board is quite similar to most other evaluation and demonstration boards and kits. All components used are in a socketed (temporary) arrangement and are connected to a given circuit or power supply component. With the help of the Atmel AT89C51 microcontroller, or some other compatible development tool, a user can program, configure, and control various aspects of the AD9553 DAC. The board contains required components such as resistors, capacitors, and diodes to provide a proper operation of the DAC. Additionally, the board also has an on-board power supply circuit, enabling the user to power the board from a single external power source.
The AD9553/PCBZ board also contains a set of crossovers and associated capacitors. This set up enables the user to adjust or tune the board\'s output from DC to 10MHz.
