Data Acquisition – Analog Front End (AFE) systems play a critical role in connecting analog signals from the real world to digital systems. AD9670BBCZ is an ultra-compact and configurable analog front end (AFE) chip used to measure high-resolution signals from an array of sensors. Its integrated power multiplexer (PMUX) enables configurable high-precision input ranges in high-impedance bipolar, unipolar and differential voltage configurations. In addition to configurable input ranges, the AD9670BBCZ AFE also features a configurable 12-bit SAR-type ADC (successive approximation register) with a conversion rate of up to 65 MSPS (mega samples per second).
The AD9670BBCZ AFE is ideal for applications requiring high-accuracy digitization of high impedance signals such as media access controllers (MACs), pressure sensors and digital interface circuits (DICs).
