It is capable of sampling rates up to 125 Msps, and also provides excellent image rejection performance up to 1 MHz.The AD9742ARU DAC is built with a pair of 16-bit digital-to-analog converters, each of which is composed of a highly linear interpolation filter, a pair of equalizers, and a dynamic range stretcher. The interpolation filter takes the incoming digital data stream and interpolates it using a sinusoidal interpolator with a sampling rate of 200 MHz. This results in a waveform of very high resolution.Next, the equalizers convert the waveform into a wideband signal capable of producing signals up to 1 MHz, with an overall filtering rejection of approximately 45 dB. The last stage, the dynamic range stretcher, further increases the waveform\'s dynamic range with a gain at the output stage.The AD9742ARU offers numerous advantages compared to other similar DACs.
