The ADC08060CIMTX/NOPB is a single-ended device; it has an internal 5V reference and requires an analog input to be single-ended for conversion. The maximum (VREF+_in max) input voltage is 4.5 volts, so a 4.5V full-scale span is most common with this device. The device can also handle ‘pseudo differential’ inputs where the minimum input voltage can be larger than 0, as long as the maximum input voltage is not larger than the reference voltage.The device also features variable track & hold times and is capable of output conversions in as little as ten microseconds.
