ADC12034CIN/NOPB (ADC12034C Integral Non-Linearity Digital to Analog Converter with Output Buffer) is one of the Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) developed by Texas Instruments which is widely used in different applications. This type of ADC comes highly recommended due to its ease of integration, low power consumption and wide input range. The ADC12034CIN/NOPB has an output buffer which allows for better system performance when performing digital-to-analog conversion.The ADC12034CIN/NOPB has a wide bandwidth which allows for the processing of a variety of signals such as audio, video and digital clocks, as well as a wide input range from 0.2V to 4.5V. This analog-to-digital converter has an integrated charge pump which helps to reduce external components when configuring the system. In addition, the converter has a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is operable in 2.7V to 5.5V single supply.In terms of its application field, the ADC12034CIN/NOPB is applicable to medical imaging, consumer electronics like medical instruments, instrumentation and process control, telecommunications, aerospace and defense products, network security and automotive systems. This converter is also excellent for real-time digital signal processing applications such as voice and data transmission, audio and video encoding/decoding as well as automatic modulation.It is relatively easy to understand the working principle of the ADC12034CIN/NOPB. The analog signal is first converted into a stream of digital bits using the on-chip analog-to-digital converter. The stream of digital bits is then filtered by the digital filter to remove noise and unwanted signals, and finally converted back to an analog signal using the on-chip digital-to-analog converter.The charge pump is an important part of the ADC12034CIN/NOPB which helps to reduce external components when configuring the system. This device uses an external capacitor to supply the necessary voltage for charge pump operation. The charge pump is activated by the output of the inverter and it will produce a reference voltage from the supply voltage by integrating the external capacitors connected to the +VREF and -VREF pins on the ADC12034CIN/NOPB.The ADC12034CIN/NOPB also has an on-chip digital frequency-domain filtering which helps reduce unwanted out-of-band noise signals.
