Analog to digital converters (ADCs) are used in a wide range of applications, such as in measuring systems, automatic data acquisition and control systems, in which the measurement of analog signal requires conversion to digital form. In many of these applications, the ADC must be able to sample and digitize signal which can be fast enough to keep up with the rapid changes of the analog signal, such as in power line systems or in automotive ECU systems. The ADC1213D065WO-DB is a high-speed, low power converter optimized for fast communication and data acquisition applications.The ADC1213D065WO-DB is an Evaluation Board containing the ADC1213D065WO ADC integrated circuit. The board contains all the components required to measure and digitize high-speed, voltage or current input signals. It is powered by a 9V DC power source and the output can be connected directly to a PC\'s USB port or remotely via a serial interface.The ADC1213D065WO-DB is designed to enable engineers to quickly and effectively measure, sample and process high-speed, low-frequency signals such as in car audio systems, solar monitoring systems and medical diagnostics systems. By taking advantage of the fast sample rate of up to 1 MHz and the 16-bit resolution, the board enables accurate measurements of low-frequency signal without the need for multiplexing, external clocks or external filters.The ADC1213D065WO-DB offers a wide working voltage range of 5.5V to 30V and is capable of converting high-speed, wide, low-level signals of up to 5V into 0 - 10V logic levels. This enables the board to measure signals that are up to 5V, which is convenient for applications in which multiplexers are used to obtain larger voltage ranges.The ADC1213D065WO-DB can also be used to measure wideband, current or voltage input signals. For current signal measurements, the board uses a charge amplifier to convert the current signal to a voltage signal, and the board also has a current-voltage conversion circuit to convert the voltage to a current signal.The ADC1213D065WO-DB board offers several features that enable it to perform accurate measurements in a wide range of applications. For example, it has differential inputs with an input offset voltage less than 5 μV, which makes it possible to measure small signals accurately. The board also features an adjustable gain, so it can sample and convert signals over a wide range of amplitudes, and a variable output gain that can be set to increase or decrease the resolution of the signal.In addition, the board is equipped with a built-in reference voltage source, which eliminates the need for an external voltage reference.
