ADC122S021CIMM/NOPB is an analog to digital converter, which is often used for data acquisition. The ADC122S021CIMM/NOPB is a high-precision analog to digital converter with 12-bit resolution and is capable of converting analog signals to digital data in a range of 2.7V to 5.5V. The converter samples and digitizes inputs in the analog domain with a 24-bit sigma-delta ADC. The device itself is a small, low-power and low-power integrated circuit with a tiny footprint that requires only one external capacitor for proper operation.The ADC122S021CIMM/NOPB application field is quite extensive. It can be used in a wide range of applications, including audio and voice applications, medical instrumentation, instrumentation, telemetry and communication, data acquisition, and industrial automation. In addition, it is well suited for ultra-low power applications due to its low power operation and programmable input range. The ADC122S021CIMM/NOPB works by converting the voltage from an analog input signal into a digital equivalent. The output of the converter is in 2’s complement digital format, and can be transferred to a microcontroller or memory device via an I2C interface or an SMA Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The ADC122S021CIMM/NOPB contains integrated temperature and voltage sensors to monitor the chip’s operating environment. An I2C digital interface is available to read back the temperature and voltage settings. Other features include power-on reset, watchdog timer, doorbell, and other system management features.The device is also capable of being reprogrammed during operation, allowing it to be adapted to new operating conditions. It is designed to meet the requirements of Class 1 accuracy for industrial measurements, giving users accuracy levels of up to 0.3% at +85°C.In summary, the ADC122S021CIMM/NOPB is a highly advanced analog to digital converter with a very small footprint and low power operation.
