The ADCS988CVH-140/NOPB utilizes Sigma-Delta technology to achieve very high performance A/D conversion. It supports both single-ended and differential input modes, which can be easily configured in the system without additional external components. The device integrates an flexibility calibration block that enables it to compensate for offset, gain, and other parameters. The digital filter of the ADCS988CVH-140/NOPB offers low-noise outputs and provides two levels of digital filtering with programmable bandwidths and noise-suppression capabilities. This device also features a differential output with 16-bit resolution that can be used for further processing in a digital signal processor (DSP).

The device features an integrated reference voltage that provides the required reference voltage for the A/D conversion. It also has a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) that allows for control and configuration of the device. It supports up to 16x-oversampled conversion and offers 24bit ENOB performance. It also has an integrated analog input multiplexer that supports up to two simultaneous analog-to-digital conversions.
