ADCS7476AIMFX/NOPB is an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for high accuracy, low power dissipation, and excellent linearity. It is intended for use in a wide variety of application fields, including analog signal conditioning, data acquisition and control, digital signal processing, and measurement, monitoring and control. The ADCS7476AIMFX/NOPB is a single-channel 18-bit ADC with a serial digital input. It accepts analog inputs from 0.2V to 4.75V with a 1.2V reference voltage input. The full-scale dynamic range is 16.47V with a 17.85V analog input tolerance range. The ADC has a programmable data-input filter for unwarranted noise suppression. The sampling rate of the ADC is up to 500ksps and it is designed to provide an output data resolution of 0.05V. When it comes to accuracy and linearity, the ADCS7476AIMFX/NOPB is an excellent choice. It has an unmatched signal-to-noise ration of 79dB, and a total effective number of bits (ENOB) of 16.8. The full-scale offset error is ±0.5 LSB, while the gain accuracy is ±0.1 LSB (with 0.2V reference). The linearity error ranges from -3.3 LSB to 3.3 LSB. In terms of power consumption, the ADCS7476AIMFX/NOPB is a great solution. It has an integrated low drop-out linear regulator to regulate its supply voltage, so it can operate with a supply voltage range from 5V to 7.5V.
