The ADG1411YCPZ-REEL is an integrated device designed for use with interface-level analog switches, multiplexers, and demultiplexers with precise voltage and current ranges. It has eight channels with adjustable input and output voltages that are compliant with the Design Engineers’ IEEE-835-2008 I/O standard. This reliable device can be used in a variety of applications, including, but not limited to, high speed switching, signal multiplexing, and communications, among many others. The device is composed mechanically of a number of switches built up of two-terminal elements (the “choke” and the “switch”). The amount of energy stored in the two-terminal element (the “choke-switch”) is determined by the bias voltage applied to the device. When the voltage across the choke exceeds the voltage across the switch, the choke-switch is then closed. Since the device is composed of multiple elements this arrangement is called a pin-auto element. The device can be used to select multiple I/O signals by providing a voltage across the pin-base element. A higher voltage results in a faster switching rate, which simplifies the design of data acquisition systems with multiple inputs and outputs. The device is also capable of driving long runs of cables, reducing the amount of time required for communication and data transfer applications.The ADG1411YCPZ-REEL is designed for single-ended inputs, outputs, and supply potentials. The device can also be used to drive multiple drivers in parallel.
