Working Principle

The ADJ76006 power relay is a traditional electric switch device that can be used to control AC power. It consists of a coil and a set of contacts which are connected to another set of contacts by an armature. When current flows through the coil, it creates an electromagnetic field and this field causes the armature to move. This movement in turn causes the contacts to either open or close, depending on the polarity of the current.

When power is supplied to the coil and current flows through it, the armature is forced into the “on” position which triggers the contacts to make contact with each other. This closes the circuit and allows current to flow to the load. When the power is cut to the coil, the armature moves back to its original position, opening the contacts and thus breaking the circuit. This cuts power to the load.
