RF mixers are one of the most commonly used devices in radio systems as well as other fields such as astronomy and communications.
The RF mixer, also known as an up-converter, is primarily used to convert low-frequency radio signals to higher frequencies. This process is accomplished by combining two different signals, one of which is the input signal and the other is the local oscillator signal, and allowing them to interact.
