ADM00773 is a low-voltage, low-power monolithic MEMS gyroscope sensor that is used in a wide range of motion sensing and control applications. It is capable of measuring angular velocity in two axes, providing a high level of accuracy and stability. Its small package size and low power consumption makes it ideal for use in mobile and embedded systems.ADM00773 uses a patented analytical core technology which consists of four primary key components: monolithic silicon MEMS, zero voltage harmonic detection, optimization of damping profile and active gyroscope noise compensation. The MEMS are the electrodes that form the sensor\'s core and are responsible for detecting angular acceleration and rotational speed. The zero voltage harmonic detection is a process which uses a specialized circuit architecture to reduce the effect of harmonic distortion in the output signal. The optimization of damping profile is a process that uses computer algorithms to analyze the output signal and optimize the system’s dynamic characteristics. Lastly, the active gyroscope noise compensation works by applying a software algorithm to the output signal in order to reduce errors and enhance accuracy.The ADM00773\'s working principle is based on Coriolis force. When a mass is subjected to an angular acceleration, the Coriolis force acts on that mass perpendicular to the plane of rotation. When the mass is placed onto a vibrating platform, such as the one used on the ADM00773, its movement creates a torque that is proportional to the angular velocity. This torque causes the vibrating platform to rotate, thus giving an output signal that reflects the angular velocity of the mass.The ADM00773 is capable of measuring angular speeds in both the x and y axes.
