ADM8615-EVALZ Application Field & Working PrincipleThe ADM8615-EVALZ is an evaluation and demonstration board/kit designed for power supply ICs and analog ICs. It is a tool for engineers and students to evaluate the performance of the ADM8615 power supply IC. The board gives users the opportunity to easily connect the ADM8615-EVALZ evaluation board with other user equipment in order to further assess the performance of the ADM8615 power supply IC under larger workloads.The ADM8615-EVALZ includes an onboard non-volatile storage memory and an integrated terminalblock which makes it the most economical and time efficient solution for prototyping and testing. All of the components are easily accessible without having to solder or unsolder. The board also includes USB, Ethernet and RS232 interfaces which make it suitable for use in laboratory or on-site testing.The ADM8615-EVALZ is based on a power supply IC which is designed to provide up to 10 A of continuous output current and up to 20 A of peak current. The output can also be adjusted to different voltages ranging from 0.8V to 12V with an accuracy of 0.25%. The IC also has a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C.The onboard USB interface allows users to program the board directly by plugging in a USB cable. The integrated terminalblock provides quick and easy connections of external components and devices such as sensors, switches, transducers etc. The board also includes various protection features such as over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection.The ADM8615-EVALZ is capable of providing consistent and precise power supply to the connected load. The board is optimized to provide an output voltage with a maximum ripple, making it suitable for use in various systems and applications.
