The ADN8833CB-EVALZ is an evaluation board which is used to evaluate the performance of the ADN8833 4-channel, 100V, programmable, hysteretic-mode digital controller. It can be used to demonstrate all the features of the controller, as well as to evaluate performance under various conditions. The board also includes a USB-based Data Acquisition System which can be used to store data and to create application specific software programs.

The application field for the ADN8833CB-EVALZ is broad and covers many sectors. The controller is a fully programmable, program controlled, SLIC-based, digital hysteretic mode, power controller designed to provide fast response and precise control. The controller also boasts the ability to sense current, input voltage, and power at the desired levels for the best performance of the device. The controller is a 4-channel, 100V, programmable, hysteretic-mode digital controller which is further integrated with an HSMC I/O port, enabling controls and data buffering. The controller operates in conjunction with a DC-DC buck-boost converter for low noise and high performance. The Buck-Boost converter provides advantageous low noise levels and an operating range from 800mA to 600mA with a 0.05% current accuracy with rapid transient response.

The ADN8833CB-EVALZ is a versatile evaluation board designed to enable the user to prototype power applications and demonstrate the capabilities of the device in various application fields. The board is capable of simulating various conditions through the use of the Test Element Architecture. The board is also powered by an external power supply and can also be connected to a PC via the USB or Ethernet connection for easy data transfer and programming.
