ADP151ACBZ-3.0-R7 is a linear voltage regulator integrated circuit from PMIC—Voltage Regulators—Linear family. It is a low-power, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator that integrates a P-Channel MOSFET to reduce the possibility of out-of-regulation output due to large transient loads. The device supports an input voltage range of 1.8 V to 6 V and an output voltage of 3.3V.

The device can deliver up to 300 mA of continuous output current over the extended temperature range of -40° C to +125° C while still maintaining good load and line regulation even with large transient loads. The LDO is designed to be highly efficient and maintain a very low quiescent current. The low quiescent current also minimizes the dropout voltage and ensures the LDO will remain in regulation at low currents.

ADP151ACBZ-3.0-R7 features a very low dropout voltage of typically 80 mV at 300 mA of load current. This low dropout voltage enables the deviceto operate over a wide input voltage range guaranteeing that the output voltage will remain within the specified accuracy of ±2%. The device also offers excellent load and line regulation of 0.2% and 0.1% respectively.

The LDO is protected against fault conditions such as output overvoltage, reverse current flow, output and input over current, output short circuit and thermal shutdown.The device also features an internal pull up resistor to ensure proper start up in applications with no external initialization signal. The low shutdown current of 0.1 µA makes this device ideal for portable systems.

Due to its wide operating range, excellent performance, overcurrent, overtemperature and reverse current protection and low quiescent current, ADP151ACBZ-3.0-R7 is well suited for low-power, battery-operated applications such as portable medical devices, wearable devices, wireless charging and remote wireless sensors.
