<p>The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ Evaluation Board is a DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS, designed specifically to evaluate the performance of the ADP2107E or ADP2107E/B dual-phase interleaved synchronous buck controller. The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ requires a single external output voltage sense resistor and a minimum number of other system components for complete solution. The evaluation board includes a number of external feedback, current regulation, and real-time clock circuitry, and is configured to allow users to adjust the device’s parameters quickly and accurately. </p><p>The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ Evaluation Board integrates two independent, two-phase interleaved buck converter circuits and a real-time clock into a board with a small form factor. Each pair of phases is capable of delivering more than 50A current with peak-to-peak ripple of less than 0.25%. The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ has a nominal input voltage range of 12V-400V and operates continuously at a switching frequency of 500 kHz. The output voltage range of each converter can be adjusted between 0.6V to 6V. The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ evaluation board also includes an external clock input for synchronization with other systems. </p><p>The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ Evaluation Board is based on the ADP2107E or ADP2107E/B dual-phase interleaved synchronous buck controller. This controller IC utilizes a variable frequency and duty cycle operation algorithm to accurately regulate the output voltage of the buck converter. The controller includes a voltage loop control that uses current-mode control to provide fast transient response and reduce output voltage ripple. In addition, the controller provides a high-output current accuracy of 0.1% of the regulation set-point accuracy for each channel. The controller also includes a low-noise, phase-interleaved PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) feature that helps ensure output noise due to the input voltage fluctuations is minimized. </p><p>The ADP2107-BL1-EVZ Evaluation Board is an ideal solution for applications such as solar energy harvesting systems, LED lighting systems, and power supply units for server systems. The board is also capable of providing a reliable and efficient power supply to industrial robots and machine systems.
