The ADP2125B-1.26EVALZ is an evaluation board for DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. ADP2125B is a synchronous rectifier controller used to establish a faithful, low loss control of both forward and synchronous rectification. It is a kind of power converter that is used to maximize efficiency and reduce thermal losses. The board provides a dual output of regulated 12-14V@125A DC output with a single stage of regulation. The ADP2125B-1.26EVALZ basically works by allowing standard type SMPS converter topology to regulate the output voltage in a controlled manner. It is designed for off-line operations with a high efficient active-clamp and CCM boundary condition. It includes an on-board regulated power supply of ±15V, used to power the IC. This board has a fanless synchronous full-bridge topology optimized for single stage power conversion.

ADP2125B-1.26EVALZ provides high efficiency, low component count and a wide range input voltage of 90V-305V operation. It can supply an output of 375 W when the input voltage is 180 V. This board has a high power to weight ratio and low cost, which makes it ideal for applications such as transportation, medical instrumentation, consumer electronic, industrial, etc.

The board has an on-board power supply ready facility that requires no external components. It also has an internal switcher with internal bias for fan-less operation.
