ADP5135CP-EVALZ

ADP5135CP-EVALZ is an Evaluation Board comprised of an integrated DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS circuit. This board includes a nominal 12V DC and +5V DC Input rails set up to +3.3V DC output and is configured for a nominal 3A output current. This Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the ADP5135 device. The ADP5135 is a three-phase synchronous rectified step-down DC/DC regulator suitable for a variety of high frequency switching and battery powered applications. With a 3-phase cascade of current sources, the ADP5135 is able to deliver high power up to 8A with excellent dynamic response.The ADP5135CP-EVALZ Evaluation Board also features a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V and an excellent efficiency of up to 95%. It also has maximum power limiting, current sharing, and ripple-throttling. With dynamic voltage scaling, the user is able to adjust the output voltage within a range of 0.5V to 3.3V, and dynamically minimize the output impedances.The ADP5135CP-EVALZ Evaluation Board also offers a frequency adjustment facility that enables the user to set the switching frequency to the best suited for the application. The switching frequency can be controlled through the L1 & L2 pins. It also includes a voltage programming facility to enable a fixed voltage programmed at the output port with the use of an external divider. The ADP5135CP-EVALZ Evaluation Board employs a wide range of protection features to maintain optimum performance and to protect it from short circuits, thermal overload, and overcurrent.
