ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 is an on-chip micropower voltage reference from Analog Devices Inc. (ADI). It is an integrated circuit that provides an accurate, stable voltage reference without requiring field calibration or trimming of components. The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 is part of ADI’s Voltage Reference product family, which utilizes CMOS technology to provide superior precision over time, in addition to low power consumption.The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 is designed to provide a wide and adjustable range of voltage references. Its output voltage can be adjusted from 0.45 V to 5 V and is capable of providing current in excess of 15 mA. Furthermore, the ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 provides a low noise and low-ripple output signal, as well as a temperature stable and programmable output voltage.Applications for the ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 include precision digital-to-analog converters, reference cleaners for instrumentation, and powered devices such as computer monitors or laptops that require a stable, low-power voltage reference. The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 can also be used in synthesized signal sources, in wireless telephone receivers, and for tracking and regulation in system power supplies.The PC board-mounted ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 consists of three terminals, two for input and one for output. The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 operates from a single-supply voltage of between 2.7 V and 18 V. When connected to an appropriate power supply and ground, the output follows the input voltage. The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 has a minimum operating temperature of -40°C and a maximum operating temperature of 125°C.The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 works by utilizing a precision current reference source, followed by a temperature-stable amplifier circuit. Its output voltage is set by an internal voltage reference, and it is capable of providing voltage and current over a wide range of applications.The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 provides a low-ground-level offset, low-noise output, and a wide output voltage range. It also utilizes PMOS and NMOS transistors to provide excellent thermal stability. The output voltage is guaranteed over temperature and output current is guaranteed up to 15 mA.The ADR423ARMZ-REEL7 has a power supply rejection ratio of 100 dB and an output voltage stability of 0.05% over temperature. It also provides excellent input-to-output isolation, resulting in better performance and protection of sensitive circuits.
