ADS5287IRGCR is high-speed, 14-bit, low-power analog digital converters (ADCs) designed for data conversion and signal conditioning applications, including radar, digital beam-forming and ultrasound systems. The device can be used for a variety of signal processing tasks, such as the conversion of analog signals to digital data signals, filtering and time delays, anti-aliasing and signal restoration. The ADS5287IRGCR offers high-accuracy, low-power performance and wide operating temperature range.
The ADS5287IRGCR has an analog input range of 0V to 3.3V, and can convert up to 1.5MSPS sample rate. The device uses a differential input architecture and offers an on-chip reference and programmable gain stage. The device is supported by a wide variety of software tools, such as the ADS5288 GUI software development environment, and the ADI Device Toolbox software for parameter and hardware access control.
The ADS5287IRGCR is a high-speed, low-power, 14-bit synchronous ADC. The device has a differential input architecture with programmable gain stage, allowing for improved noise immunity, as well as extended input dynamic range. The device has an on-chip reference and offers a full power supply range of 3.3V to 5V. The operational temperature range is 0°C to 70°C for 1.5MSPS conversion rates.
The device features an on-chip oversampling capability, enabling the user to program conversion rates up to 6MSPS. The oversampling capability also reduces the effective full-scale input range of the device, providing improved linearity and SNR in applications that require a wider signal dynamic range. The device also features frequency interference rejection (FIR) filters, which reduce signal distortion up to 50%.
In terms of data output, The device features three different output formats: serial, parallel and serialized-parallel. The serial interface supports asynchronous data transfer, including daisy-chained devices. The parallel interface offers a direct interface to other devices, such as digital signal processors or FPGAs. The Serialized-Parallel interface is designed for low-voltage applications, such as those found in automotive systems. The output data can be configured for two\'s complement, offset binary and straight binary formats.
