AHN36006 Application Field and Working Principle

AHN36006 is the ultra-small Power Relays with over 2 Amps capacity created by ITT Cannon. It is a form C latching contactor, listing an electrical life of 30,000 cycles. It is incorporated with 4.0 x 2.0 x 1.4 mm³ volume, and 3.3V DC, 6A latching relay. Its application field of the AHN36006 Power Relays, Over 2 Amps lies in medical devices, portable communication, automotive electronics, robotics & motion, industrial controllers and consumer electronics.In its working principle, the AHN36006 Power Relays is designed with two magnetic systems, which are comprised of two magnets and two latching arms. An electrical current is supplied to energize a first magnet, a latch arm and a reed switch within the circuit, and the second magnet is de-energized in turn. The force of the two magnets interact with the two latching arms to create a movement, allowing the reed switch to be switched on and off. In its operation mode, the AHN36006 Power Relays feature a latching contactor, which operates like a toggle switch or a momentary switch. This allows multiple contacts to be opened and closed via two pulse signals. When this happens, the contactor will move between its two states, closed or opened. The voltage across the contactor is typically low, while current can reach up to 6A. The AHN36006 Power Relays can operate either with a variety of external control devices like buttons, PLCs, microcontrollers, etc. or can be fully automated. When using external control devices, the latching operation period can be adjusted and set in high, low and standard switch positions, depending on your choice and requirements. AHN36006 Power Relays are generally installed in a number of applications including medical devices, portable communication, automotive electronics, robotics & motion, industrial controllers, and consumer electronics.
