The AIS326DQTR is an IC which contains a three-axis, low-power, digital accelerometer with a range of up to ±8 g and a temperature range of − 40°C to + 85°C. With its low power consumption and its ability to read accelerations in three axes simultaneously, it is perfect for applications that require motion to be precise, accurate, and in real-time.
The AIS326DQTR accelerometer can detect, measure, and track acceleration due to gravity, dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock and tilt. - Sports and Fitness: The accelerometer in the AIS326DQTR is perfect for sports and fitness applications such as foot pods or bike computers. It can measure the acceleration and track pedal stroke cadence or gait rotation, allowing for precise sports performance analytics.
The AIS326DQTR accelerometer is based on a 10, 20, and 30 bit resolution 12-bit unsigned analog to digital converter (ADC). It also includes a temperature sensor with a range of -40°C to +85°C. This allows for precise and accurate measurements that can be used in a variety of applications. Furthermore, the built-in FIFO (First-In, First-Out) buffering feature allows for up to 128 samples to be stored and read in a continuous stream.
The AIS326DQTR accelerometer has two main operating modes: Normal and Low-power. In Normal mode, the accelerometer performs operations at a maximum sample rate, while in Low-power mode, only the acceleration measurements are active and no temperature measurements are taken.
