AK4705AEQ is a high performance, low power, and small size multi-channel audio CODEC developed by Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation. It features an integrated ADC/DAC, PCM/DSP-based audio sample rate converter, digital pre-amplifier, analog bass/treble/loudness control, I/O control, etc. As an 6-input/3-output circuit integrated audio CODEC IC, AK4705AEQ has a wide range of applicability and is applied in various consumer electronic equipment, such as TVs, DVD players, gaming consoles, and personal computers.

Application field of AK4705AEQ includes TV\'s audio system, DVD audio system, PC audio system and portable audio device, etc. AK4705AEQ has function of supporting the various input data, including digital codec and analog audio input, to convert digital PCM to analog audio and vice versa, among others. It enables TV\'s decoder to output digital audio/video track and output of analog audio from DVD.

As a miniature size codec, AK4705AEQ features 10bit ADC and 14bit DAC, supporting 16KHz to 96KHz sampling frequency. Besides, the AK4705AEQ also has 6-channel digital mixer, bass/treble/loudness control, digital de-emphasis, noise gate, mute, balance control, dynamic range control, and power save mode.
