This activates the Hall effect device, which then switches the output to a low impedance state, sometimes referred to as “logic high”. The output of the device is designed to drive low power loads such as small relays, discrete transistors, or drive an LED directly.AKL001-12E is available in two operating ranges, one for magnetically controlled AC loads and one for magnetically controlled DC loads. The AC range has a switching voltage of up to 250V AC, while the DC range has a switching voltage of 12V DC. The device is also available in two sensitivity levels which can be used to achieve different switching thresholds for the same magnetic field.The AKL001-12E is well suited for applications where a reliable magnetic field activated switch is required.
