Rectifiers are semiconductor devices which are often used to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) by allowing current flow in one direction only. Rectifier diodes are two-terminal, non-linear devices which are used to convert AC to DC. The most popular type of rectifier diodes is the single in-line pin package (AM01AV0).

AM01AV0 diodes are available with a wide range of current ratings, from 0.5A to 12A, and with a variety of voltage ratings ranging from 6V to 150V.
