AM1806EZWT3 is an embedded microprocessor from Texas Instruments (TI), which combines an ARM Cortex-M3 processor and integrated peripherals on a single, low-power device for use in cost-sensitive, low-power embedded applications. Its turnkey solution is an ideal system-on-module, offering significant design advantages over using conventional discrete devices.The AM1806EZWT3 delivers high performance integrated with a 20-MHz ARM Cortex-M3 processor, along with integrated peripherals such as ADC, SPI, and UART, making it powerful enough to handle challenging applications in the embedded market. The device also comes with an integrated JTAG debug port, making it easy to debug. It also offers a low power operation of 4µA/MHz and is idle down to 125uA for an overall 12mW of active power.The device is optimized for a wide range of embedded applications, such as motor control, industrial automation, communication systems and medical devices. It provides excellent programming flexibility and wide operating range of -40 to 105C. It is also RoHS- and WEEE- compliant, making it suitable for commercial applications.As far as its applications and working principles are concerned, the AM1806EZWT3 can be applied to industrial automation, medical and communication systems. The device is designed to meet the needs of applications requiring high-performance, low-power, and scalability. It can be programmed using a variety of languages, such as C, C++, or assembly. It also supports the Text-based CoreMark benchmark, which measures the overall performance of the processor.The ARM Cortex-M3 processor core provides high performance while running at low power.
