The AN78L06ME1 series of linear voltage regulators, known as the low dropout types (LDOs), are low-power low-dropout voltage regulators that offer well regulated output voltage with very low quiescent current. This means the device will continue to hold the output voltage even with a dramatic reduction in input voltage and without the need for low-current limit resistors. Designed for use in battery powered systems, the series regulator draws very little current during shutdown, making it ideal for applications that need to draw minimal power while in standby mode. Furthermore, they feature high peak current load capability and low noise production, which makes it a great option for amplifier applications.

The AN78L06ME1 series regulators feature a fixed 2.8V output voltage from an input voltage range of 2V (minimum) to 24V (maximum).
