ANM832CE is a powerful machine vision camera and sensor used in various vision applications, such as industrial adaptation, automated transportation, intelligent traffic, and robotics. It is equipped with two powerful and highly sensitive image sensors - an 8MP Sony IMX179 back-illuminated CMOS sensor and an ON Semiconductor 16.2MP CMOS sensor.
The ANM832CE maintains its operations using four distinct interface technologies: USB 3.0, GigE, serial or parallel interface. The ANM832CE utilizes a progressive scan-type of image capturing, utilizing a maximum frame rate of 76.5fps under standard operation. This electronic sensor also includes a powerful, auto-exposure algorithm, which can filter out unexpected changes in brightness or darkness.
The ANM832CE’s integral image processing algorithm is also particularly impressive. This algorithm can thoroughly analyze the captured images, applying multi-level filtering, feature extraction, object recognition and target classification. This powerful algorithm operates using three central components, namely the image analysis subsystem, the pattern matching subsystem and the controller subsystem.
The image analysis subsystem consists of multiple digital signal processing blocks, which are used for a variety of tasks, including edge detection, target area extraction, feature extraction, and image analysis. This subsystem offers a huge quantity of details to enable the controller subsystem to operate with maximum efficiency. The pattern matching subsystem, on the other hand, applies feature Based algorithms to detect objects and recognize patterns.
The controller subsystem offers the most intelligent of operations, managing the full-fledged control of the ANM832CE camera. It compares the gathered data with the stored image templates, in order to accurately detect any differences or changes and trigger the subsequent response. The controller subsystem also functions to execute a variety of actions, such as opening/closing the shutter, built-in memory control, camera control, image processing functions and triggering. It is also used to identify the specific image characteristics, automatically adjusting the gain, contrast and shading correctly.
