AP6503ASP-13 is a DC-DC switching regulator from PMIC (Power Management IC) solutions, which is a subtype of Voltage Regulators. The device is well suited for providing a regulated supply to battery powered electronic products and able to withstand a wide range of input voltage (2V - 5.5VV) and output voltage (0.6V - 5.5V). It is enabled by ultra-low quiescent current (<50uA) and ultra-low shutdown current (<1uA).To illustrate the working principle of AP6503ASP-13, it can be best understood by looking at the block diagram provided in the datasheet. It consists of several parts: input voltage regulating circuit, switching voltage regulator, output voltage regulating circuit and feedback control circuit. The output voltage is then regulated by the output voltage regulating circuit.
