AP7363-10D-13 is a 200mA Low Dropout (LDO) regulator with a low output voltage range of 1.2V to 3.6V. AP7363-10D-13 adopts a linear regulator topology usually used in PMICs. It uses an external resistor to adjust the output voltage based on a reference voltage. When the input voltage is higher than the output voltage, the linear regulator will be activated and the excess power will get dissipated by the nature of the circuit.The features of AP7363-10D-13 make it an excellent choice for applications that demand precise and low voltage output. It includes an internal p-channel MOSFET, an operational amplifier and an error amplifier, which are all integrated into a single integrated circuit. The p-channel MOSFET acts as the pass device and the resistors in the loop form a voltage regulating system. The operational amplifier detects the output voltage and sends the signal to the error amplifier. The error amplifier will then compare the set voltage with the output voltage in order to keep the output voltage in the desired range. The error amplifier also pumps up the current coming from the p-channel MOSFET to increase the voltage difference between the input voltage and output voltage.Moreover, AP7363-10D-13 also features a thermal protection circuit. The temperature is detected by the thermal protection circuit and it will shut down the chip if the temperature exceeds the limit.
